I have always wanted to be everything: entomologist, astronomer, cheetah conservationist, writer, traveler, horse trainer, etc.  To some degree or another I have achieved much of what I have desired.  The majority of my life has been consumed by my passion for the horse.  I have studied them in school, taught professionally, and ridden all over the world in an effort to better understand the equine and their relationship with the human. 

Additionally, I have a great passion for travel and in coming to understand and appreciate other cultures, societies, peoples, and views of life.  Those I have met of all languages and backgrounds have helped to balance my life in a way I never could have achieved alone. 

My great passion is to have a daily drive - something that gets me out of the bed with the rising of the sun and consumes me until I collapse with exhaustion at the end of the day.  To me, those are the most exhilarating days of all.
